The beautiful, newly renovated main entrance !! Love it !!
Our family really enjoyed #8! It was just sandy enough towards the walkway and nicely packed as you got close to the water. Never had to worry about the kids kicking up sand. Beautiful white sand!
I went to our favorite beach yesterday, I was so frustrated driving around for 90 minutes trying to find a parking spot that we gave up and left! A niceguy on a bicycle taxi told us to park at the church a mile away & gave us a ride! We got to the beach & it was do overcrowded with trashy people I felt like I was at Seaside Hieghts in NJ! Our beach we pay taxes for is ruined! We live here & I Never plan on going here again!! We have been going to Siesta Key since the 60's & brought our children here since they were babies. Your # 1 beach in the US has brought in too many people from all over & now we can't even enjoy going to our own beach anymore! Im sure all the locals feel the same way!!
This time of year has become very busy. The spring breakers looking to save a buck that are staying with family have been flocking to the area. The #1 beach ranking and the internet has definitely brought in the crowds too. But... I recommend coming in either the summer time or early fall. Don't give up!
I love access #7 I call it 7th Heaven nice stroll to heaven when you reach the end! The bungalows across the way at 303 Beach rd are the best to stay at no car needed. Village is close too.
And if I'm on the couch end Cresent Towers in right on The Beach more private and the Sea wall is there! Awesome
