Most of the "Night Life" on Siesta Key will be found in Siesta Village, where there is a handful of bars and pubs, all in keeping with the island’s tropical flavor. One of the most popular venues on Siesta Key seems to be the Daiquiri Deck, which is in ‘The Village’, as it’s locally known! Daiquiri Deck is popular to any age group, from retirees to those on a spring break, and families alike. As the name suggests, the venue is home to several Daiquiri recipes, just to keep up with the tropical paradise theme. “The Deck” is open for a place to have lunch or dinner and open until 2 a.m. It hosts a variety of entertainment, especially during Spring Break, when volleyball tournaments, bikini contests and parties will be found on the beach, and spilling into the Village.
Another in ‘The Village’ of Siesta Key is The Beach Club, which is a trendy bar offering a fun retreat. They host live bands, serve beer and cocktails and also have outdoor seating that keep locals and tourists coming back night after night. The bar also has many televisions to keep sports fans up-to-date on the latest scores! It is also a popular spot for dancing the night away, to a wide array of different music styles.
Siesta Key Oyster Bar (or as the locals call it "SKOB") is the hangout with the laid back, beach atmosphere that will get you right into the true Island Spirit. When you're at SKOB you feel right at home, like you're hanging out with good friends on your back patio often with live music.
The Hub Baja Grill’s famous fish tacos, hand-made lobster bisque and other tropical inspired creations are sure to exceed expectations of the most discerning palate. The Hub was awarded #1 margarita in Sarasota/Siesta Key by The Sarasota Herald Tribune in 2010, and voted #1 restaurant for popularity and customer service in Siesta Key by the users of TripAdvisor.com. The Hub also features some of the areas finest Original Musicians and Bands.
Gilligan's Island Bar is located in the center of the Village of Siesta Key. It's tiki bar exterior is sure to catch your eye and interest as you stroll or drive through the Village. Gilligan's may look a little rough around the edges to you, but don't pass it by. It is a Florida beach bar at its best. It is fun, and you will have a great time there. The drinks are cold and refreshing, and the crowd is lively at this Florida beach bar.
Captain Curt's is located just across the street from the beach access #12 , close to the south bridge of Siesta Key. It is well known for awesome seafood, especially their famous clam chowder, oysters and shrimp. Live entertainment in the karaoke bar and the tiki bar makes it a hot spot for tourist and locals. Captain Curt's also has a family friendly restaurant, a tiki bar with outside and inside seating, and a bar for karaoke and live entertainment. The Crab & Oyster Bar is located at Captain Curt's Village on Siesta Key.
